A wildflower garden has the most enchanting sound. Imagine wandering through the woods for a long time, collecting material, and then the joy of creating a truly sustainable wild garden.

Many people say that they were unlucky with such a garden home idea. This is not a matter of luck, but a matter of understanding, because wildflowers are like people, and each of them has its own personality. This is enough to tell us that we must copy Nature herself. Let's say you're hunting wild flowers. When collecting flowers in the forest, pay attention to the soil where they are located, the terrain, conditions, surroundings and neighbors.

Suppose you find that dog's teeth violets and wind flowers grow close to each other. Then place them in your new garden. Suppose you find a certain violet enjoying an open situation; then it must always be the same. You see the point, don't you? If you want wildflowers to grow in your garden, make them comfortable. Let them almost believe that they are in their native places.

Wild flowers should be replanted after the flowering period. Take a spoon and a basket with you to the forest. When you take a columbine or liverwort, be sure to take some of the plant's own soil with the roots, which should be packed into it when replanting.

The bed in which these plants will be placed must be well prepared before the trip. You certainly don't want to leave these plants for a day or night before planting them. They must go to the new quarter at the same time. 

The bed needs forest soil that is deep, rich and full of leaf mold. The bottom drainage system must be good. Then the plants should not move into waterlogged soil. Some people think that all woody plants must have soil saturated with water. But the forest itself is not covered with water. You may have to dig the garden very deep and put a rock at the bottom. The top layer of soil should go on top of it. And on top, where the top layer of soil was, place a new layer of rich soil that you brought from the forest.

Water the soil well before planting. Then, when preparing the plant sites, pour into each hole a little soil that belongs to the plant that will be placed there.

I think it's a pretty good plan to have a wildflower garden that will bloom from early spring to late fall; So, let's start in March with liverwort, spring beauty and saxifrage. June will bring bluebell, mullein, lemon balm and foxglove. For July, I would choose weed for gay butterflies. Let tortoiseshell, aster, Joe Pie grass and Queen Anne's lace decorate the rest of the season until frost.
